One of the magical places, Aareschlucht, does not appear on any list of popular tourist attractions. It might be because this place has nothing else to interest you except the beauty of the mysterious nature hidden between the large gorges. Or it may be overshadowed by the name of a famous tourist attraction in the country, making Aareschlucht become one of the Unseen that adventurers can't miss.

Interlaken District, Switzerland. In addition to being the location of a natural tourist spot like Jungfraujoch, there is another great natural resource hidden in the hidden valley. Waiting for many people to experience the beauty that nature has created like Aareschlucht
Aareschlucht , located in the city of Meiringen in the Interlaken district, is an amazing place. The Aare River flows through the valley between the villages of Meiringen and Innertkirchen. In a length of 1,400 meters it meets the Rhein River, the longest river in Switzerland.

The beauty and grandeur of nature. That the water can flow through the mountain gorge is a miracle worth visiting.
The wind blowing through this area will be cool and humid. The wind is blowing strong all the time. The coolness of the emerald colored water flowing through. Combined with the stream that flows down from the mountain gorge, this nature is rich in food for the eyes.

Steel frame bridge that connects alternating lines on both sides. Intersecting with the stone tunnel path that goes through the mountain. It is a construction that has been in existence for over 125 years. The river flows at its widest point, 40 meters, and at its narrowest point, only 1 meter. Additionally, the emerald-colored surface of the water flows at a speed of 2 meters per second. And there is a point where the depth is as high as 5 meters.

Some spots are wide open to see views and wonders. While some spots are so narrow that you have to walk through the gorge. And if you look up, you will see a faint light piercing through the mist and treetops. Flanked by steep cliffs The reflection of the emerald water combined with the color of the old rocks gives a mysterious feeling.
In some spots there are waterfalls flowing down from the mountainside. It makes the writer think of The ancient tombs of the Chinese series The Jade Dragon Sword and imagining yourself as Ai Guo doesn't seem too far-fetched (is it?)

If you start walking from the shore Innertkirchen It will be a walk down the mountain. It is the point where the width of the two channels on the mountain side is the greatest. And there is strong wind, so you have to be careful when sliding, so hold onto the handrails.
The eastern entrance will open on May 9, 2020. The western entrance, Meiringen, will open on April 4, 2020. If both entrances are open, visitors can walk through each other. And it is considered a walking path along the gorge that helps in exercising very well. And this year the Aareschlucht will be open for visitors on both sides until 1 November 2020.
